»
I don’t know nothing about uncle Jodok, excepting that he was the uncle of the grandfather. I don’t know how he looks like, I don’t know where he lives or what he works. I just know his name: Jodok. And I don’t know anybody else who is named like that.«

This piece is the story of self-constructed friendship; friends who can be inflated on demand, who can be used, abused, or just left alone. The thematic and acoustic foundation is drawn from Peter Bichsel’s novel »Jodok läßt grüßen« and read by the author himself. Peter Bichsel’s linguistic play sets the action frame for the physical and raw movement play of the dancers. Brash, wild and sexy, this dance avoids any formal etiquette.

review »Cheekiness. That’s their quality. And their dance, retaining formal strength while simultaneously being wild and sexy. The audience in the Arkadas-Theatre hooted and romped – match that if you can!«
